Join us in a hike that connects 3 of Mississauga's top trails: UTM Nature Trail, Culham Trail, and Riverwood Trail. Most trails in Mississauga are broken by roads or golf courses. In contrast, these trails stretch for kilometres in the heart of nature.

We'll start at UTM (University of Toronto Mississauga), a collection of different architectural styles from functional to stunning modernist. Passing through the main axis of the campus, we'll enter the UTM nature trail. It skirts the cliff on the west bank of the Credit River. Then, we'll descend into the Culham Trail on the opposite side of the river for a different view. The rugged trail runs so close to the river that it's frequently washed out by heavy rains.

The jewel of the hike is the Riverwood Trails. It's a hot spot for migratory birds and you may even see birds of prey. There's also an art gallery, historic houses, and an attractive floral garden.

All these trails are around Erindale. It's the de facto Chinatown of Mississauga. There are 4 plazas of Chinese restaurants, bakeries, and supermarkets to browse at the end of the hike. A hidden Chinese food court awaits. If that's not to your fancy, there's Japanese and Jordanian cuisine nearby.

This hike will be postponed or modified if there is heavy rain a few days before.
