Hike Travel Eat

Our hikes range from 10-16 miles with 2K-5K elevation gain to reach 10-12K altitude.

Members may join through invitation only as we intend to build a close community of friends - not just people who come and go, never to be seen again. We collect a $20 annual fee. Any surplus after paying Meetup annual fee ($300 for May 2026- 2027) will be used to fund the cost of a collective event/equipment or the following year's dues.

I am familiar with a limited number of trails. All members are encouraged to input ideas and organize events. If there is a trail/trip you would like to do, let me know.

Did you know you were an OROPHILE?

A person who feels deeply connected to the mountains ( the Greek root “oros” means mountain). For an orophile, the mountains are more than just landscapes...they are places of perspective and remembrance...a place that slows the mind and makes the soul feel free.
This love can encompass both the physical challenge of mountain activities and the emotional or spiritual connection that mountains inspire, such as peace, clarity, and a sense of awe.
