Whoo-hoo! Hike with Maddy ATX is officially up and running (or… hiking 😉)

For our very first group hike, we are keeping it classic with a walk along the beautiful Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail around Lady Bird Lake.
We’ll meet at the north side of the MoPac Pedestrian Bridge and head east along the north shore toward I-35, then loop back the same way.

The full out-and-back route is about 5–6 miles total, but will probably need to turn back early since we aren't quite yet in those summer evening daylight hours. We will keep things flexible depending on group pace, energy, and daylight. If needed, we’ll turn around early to make sure everyone gets back comfortably before dark.

This is a flat, beginner-friendly route at a casual, social pace. Expect good conversation, skyline views, and a relaxed evening outside.
