Hey y’all! November is here, and what better way to kick off a new month than spending some time outside exploring one of South Austin's beautiful parks?!

Join Hike with Maddy ATX on Sunday, November 1, for a hike through Mary Moore Searight Metropolitan Park! This 300+ acre park is a hidden gem in South Austin, offering miles of trails winding through wooded areas, open meadows, and along Slaughter Creek.

We will be exploring the Mary Moore Searight Equestrian Trail Loop, a relatively easy trail with minimal elevation gain. We will generally follow the trail loop, but will add additional routes so that our total hike is about 3 - 3.5 hours.

This will be a beginner-friendly hike, perfect for anyone looking to get outside, move their body, and meet some new hiking friends! We will maintain a comfortable group pace and take breaks as needed to enjoy the scenery.
