Join me for 12 glorious days of hiking, touring, sightseeing, hotspring and more! The cost is $3, 200 and may increase or decrease based on # of confirmed participants and rates available upon booking/ reserving.

**DEPOSIT: $500 due May 15. This is refundable up to June 15. Your payment will provide an estimate of the group size so hotel and other arrangements can be finalized.

Peru & Ecuador Itinerary

Day 1: Fly (one way) to Denver airport to Lima, Peru

• Taxi to hotel
• Excursion: Lunch on foot TOUR of the city
• Train ride to Cusco
• Check into Hotel

Day 2 - 6:

• Meet guide to hike to iconic Machu Picchu (Salkantay trail or Inca trail). Food, hotels and food along the way.

Day 7 - Hike exquisite Rainbow Mountain.

• Taxi back to Cusco hotel

Day 8: OPEN day

Day 9: Fly (one way) to Quito, Ecuador

DAY 10: Boat ride to tour Isabela Island Tour in the Gallapagos.

Mount Muscoco Trail — Midweek Hike (~4 mi, 1,300 ft gain)

Overview:
I’m guest hosting this midweek hike up Mount Muscoco in North Cheyenne Cañon. This is one of the best “bang for your buck” trails in Colorado Springs — short but steady, with rewarding 360° views of the city, Cheyenne Mountain, and the surrounding peaks from the summit.

Perfect for a midweek fitness push or just a chance to unwind on the trail with friends.

Distance: ~4 miles out-and-back

Elevation Gain: ~1,300 ft

Difficulty: Moderate — steady climb, but well-maintained trail

Time Estimate: 2–3 hours depending on group pace

Highlight: Sweeping summit views over the Springs and into the Front Range

We’ll meet at the Mount Muscoco Trailhead in North Cheyenne Cañon Park (just past the Starsmore Visitor Center). Parking is limited — carpooling is encouraged if possible.

***MEET in front of the bus stop at Hiawatha Gardens 5:30pm, catch the shuttle to the trailhead. Paid parking at Hiawatha Gardens in effect until 6pm. A free half hour parking option exists at the pay kiosks.

Parking may be available at Iron Springs Chateau, if no show is playing. You may be charged $15 to park at the Iron Springs Chateau. The Hiawatha Gardens parking lot and the Iron Springs Chateau are the only lawful incline parking options as posted by city signage. Parking elsewhere is at your own risk.

Meet at the trailhead by 6pm. //// Hike begins promptly at 6pm //// Shuttle back to Hiawatha if shuttle available. Walk back alternative.

This challenging loop is about 4+ miles and has about 2000 ft elevation gain and features great views.

🎒 What to Bring: sunscreen, hiking boots, weather-appropriate hiking attire, hiking poles, hat, anything you need to be comfortable on the hike. Plenty of water and snacks to fuel up. Camera/phone for photos. Please research weather prior to hike to make sure you’re prepared for hiking conditions.
🦮 If bringing dogs, they must be well behaved, friendly, and kept on leash at ALL times.
