This trail crosses the Beaver Creek State Wildlife Area therefore a valid hunting or fishing license OR a state wildlife pass is required although enforcement is unlikely.

**Meet in Safeway parking lot on (1920 S Nevada Ave) and carpool one hour to the trail parking lot near Canon City.

Beaver Creek is a challenging 8 mile loop trail with 1,900’ elevation gain, streams, rock formations, and beautiful views. The first part of the trail has protected wildlife so dogs are not allowed there.

Expect river crossings and bugs and itchy plants. Be prepared!

**Animals: NOT suggested. Leashed maybe

**WEATHER: ??degrees and partly sunny

** Trail conditions: The trail may be overgrown so cover legs. Expect river crossings WATERSHOES. Poles recommended

**NEEDED: water, LAYERED clothing (sun, bugs and itchy plants), watershoes, boots, gaiters, hiking poles, sunscreen, sunglasses, and snacks/drinks to share.

Socializing and drinking/eating and photos at scenic spots.
