Details

MEET: At the South Blodgett trail head at 9 AM . The is the trailhead at the top of the hill (if you look up you can see a barn) where Woodmen becomes Centennial and is NOT the older trailhead at the bottom of the hill. This trailhead is listed as "South Blodgett open space parking" in your navigation programs. To get there drive south on Centennial until you reach the top of the hill (if the road changes to Woodmen, you have gone too far) and turn left (west) on Blodgett Ranch trail and drive into the large parking area.

TRAIL DESCRIPTION: The hike is 7 miles and 2,800 ft round trip. We will hike on a little known route with some great views to the top of Lone Pine Peak where we take a lunch stop with great views of surrounding area.
