***We meet in the parking lot at Starsmore Discovery Center in Cheyenne Canyon.
This is a moderate 8ish mile out and back hike that has about 1900 ft elevation gain and features fantastic views of the canyon and the various peaks!
We'll enjoy a gentle hike on Columbine Trail to the trailhead. The trail begins with a short climb then becomes less steep as we proceed to Moscoco Peak for a music & snack break (bring enough to share).
On our way back, we'll have the option of summitting Mt. Cutler for more beautiful views of Seven Falls and the Broadmoor!!!

*** Trail conditions: Varied trail with a couple of road crossings, trees, dirt, rocks and scree. Expect spotty cell service in North Cheyenne Canyon.
***NEEDED: WATER, hiking poles, boots (spikes might be useful), sunscreen, sunglasses, and snacks/drinks to share. Be prepared with weather and terrain specific gear!
Socializing and drinking/eating and photos at several scenic spot.
