Meet at 4pm on Sumday at the typical Safeway off the 24 near 31st St to carpool 3 hours to the trailhead in Buena Vista. 4 wheel drive needed? Cost and Date subject to change
This hike is a 14er and designated HARD! Experience and/ or prepared hikers only!!!
Yale summit trail is alittle over 9 miles and about 4,300 ft elevation gain that features exquisite views, forested trail, scramble to the summit, creek crossing and alpine lake.

Cost: $100 for hotel, gas and fee
Weather: Estimated ?? degrees. Windy at the summit. Expect light snow.
Animals: Friendly and manageable dogs are OK but not recommended because long day and high altitude.
Trail conditions: Packed dirt, random stairs, rocky summit. Creek crossings. Snowy, windy and cold summit expected, be prepared! Hiking poles are highly recommended.
***NEEDED: WATER, hiking boots, hat, sunglasses, gloves, layered clothing, face mask/ balaclava, sunscreen, first aid kit, additional pair of socks, FOOD (snacks/drinks) to share. Hiking poles will most likely be needed.
Socializing and drinking/eating and photos at several scenic spot.
