This trail crosses the Beaver Creek State Wildlife Area therefore a valid hunting or fishing license OR a state wildlife pass is required although enforcement is unlikely.

**Meet in Safeway parking lot on (1920 S Nevada Ave) and carpool one hour to the trail parking lot near Canon City.

Beaver Creek is a challenging 8 mile loop trail with 1,900’ elevation gain, streams, rock formations, and beautiful views.

**Animals: ok.

**WEATHER: ??degrees and partly sunny

** Trail conditions: The trail will cross the warer. Poles & water shoes recommended.

**NEEDED: LAYERED clothing, water, boots, gaiters, hiking poles, sunscreen, sunglasses, and snacks/drinks to share.
