Red, White & Blue -July 4th- Mt. Dewey To Catamount Falls Loop

***Wear something RED, WHITE & BLUE and food to share at the summit!

*** MEET in parking lot at Safeway at 3275 W. Colorado Ave to carpool to the trailhead in Green Mountain Falls.

*** This is one of my faves! Rated moderate, this trail is about 6.5 miles with 1700 ft elevation gain. It has a couple of short inclines, a river, beautiful waterfalls and great views!

***Animals: Friendly and manageable dogs are welcomed.

***WEATHER: ?? degrees and sunny

*** Trail conditions: packed dirt with some rocky area

*** NEEDED: WATER, hiking boots, sunglasses, sunscreen, (always rain poncho), first aid kit, and snacks/drinks to share. Hiking poles might come in handy.
