Almighty Trek to Almagre Peak (12,367’)

***MEET in parking lot at Safeway to carpool to the trailhead off Old Stage Rd.

*** Looking for volunteer Drivers with 4 wheel drive vehicle. I will vet both the vehicle and the driver, as we may cut down in the hiking distance by driving the first 1/3 of the trail. Beginner drivers may not tolerate the trail features.

This is a VERY challenging 15+ mile out and back trail that features jaw dropping views and about 2800 ft elevation gain.

*** 4 wheel drive vehicle needed to get to trailhead
