New Path To Blodgett Peak

***MEET in parking lot at Safeway (840 Village Center Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80919) to carpool 15 mins to the trailhead.

*** This is a moderate 9+ mile out and back trail that features beautiful views and about 2700 ft elevation gain.
Note: we will not be following an actual trail but the ridge line to Blodgett. There will be some moderate scrambling that you will need to be able to do as well as scrambling to the summit.
We will take the same way back and not go down the face of Blodgett.

***Animals: Friendly and manageable dogs are welcomed.

***WEATHER: ?? degrees and sunny

*** Trail conditions: good

***NEEDED: WATER, hiking boots, light jacket, hat, gloves, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain poncho, first aid kit, and snacks/drinks to share. Poles might be useful.

***May be WINDY and COLDER at the summit so bring extra clothes or light jacket!!!
