RUMMEL LAKE and RUMMEL PASS hike **strong intermediate ** exploratory**

Hello everyone,
It's a lovely hike to the lake, with an extension to a mountain pass offering stunning views. I did this hike last year to the lake only and decided to push to the pass this year; however, this is the first time I'm doing the extension pass, therefore, I mark it as an exploratory.
Description:
Distance: 17.5 km round trip (out and back)
Duration: 4.5hrs -6.5 hrs
Rummel Lake: 11 km, elevation gain: (+-) 396m
Rummel Pass: 17.5 km, elevation gain: (+-) 600m
Pace and Difficulty:
It's suitable for most people with a reasonable level of fitness. Moderate climb after the lake up to the pass. The hike will be at a relaxed pace.

Carpooling:
We will meet at 7:00 am at the Shouldice Park and Ride to arrange carpooling and leave sharp 7:15 am. Look for a silver metallic Mitsubishi RVR. If you want to drive directly to the trailhead and meet there, please let me know. We will meet at a trailhead around 9:00 am and start the hike at 9:15 am.

It's a long drive, approximately 1 and 45 min to 2 hours one way, so please plan ahead.
