This is my favorite Fall trip to enjoy great views, amazing array of colors, wind, fog, rain and much of the time snow! So come prepared for the real deal (High Country Fall Backpacking) as we head into WB prime season with a great trip to get the ball rolling, so 'nuff said!

Be prepared to walk in the dark on Friday night, so only fun, upbeat people allowed! If you have not done a trip with me before, please contact me...had to learn this one the hard way as I want it to be great for us both! We will do 3 different camps with 10 people at the Wilderness camp and the group sites for the rest of us.

So saddle up for one of the wildest, wooliest places left in the Mid-Atlantic...the top of the Continental Divide in our region...the one and only Roaring Plains!

Will repeat for winter as well!

Google link and GPS coordinates to Forest Route 70-Roaring Plains:
The first gate will be unlocked for us, however the second gate is locked all the time where we park. We will backpack into some of our camps from there. Specific directions to follow the week before the event once weather conditions, etc. are known.
