Laurentian Lakes Hike to Itasca Series (3)

Laurentian Lakes members and friends will begin a series of hikes to hike all sections of the North Country Trail in our chapter that are off-road, beginning at HWY 34 trailhead and ending at Itasca in Oct. We'll hike one week on Wednesday and the next week on Saturday. You are invited to hike one or all of these rain or shine hikes.

Meet at 9:00 am at the Pine Lake trailhead in Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge. From Detroit Lakes, go east on MN State HWY 34 for 7.5 miles, then north on Becker CO 29 for 6.9 miles. The TH is on the west side of the road. We will shuttle to the beginning and hike 3.8 miles back to our cars.
