Waters and Prairie Hiking Club Moonlight Snowshoe Hike

Stan and Shelley Overgaard have invited us to hike their private trail near Dalton, MN, in the moonlight. The trail is gently rolling prairie with a hill overview of a small lake. The snow depth will require snowshoes to negotiate the trail. Moonlight on snowy hills is a magical experience. Come enjoy the stillness of a rural, silent night. The Overgaards will provide warm drinks and snacks after the hike in their guest house.

If the temperature is below 0 or the wind chill is greater than -5 below, we will cancel the hike. If heavy cloud cover obscures the moon, we will need headlamps.
