At Prairie Wetlands Learning Center (PWLC), they have a saying," There is no bad weather, just bad clothing." We will put that saying to the test with a new adventure of an open house-type hike on snowshoes or ski shoes.

Ski shoes were invented in the mountains of Eastern Europe. They are a cross between a cross-country ski and a snowshoe. They glided downhill and gripped the snow going uphill. Bring your own equipment or use the snowshoes and ski shoes provided at PWLC.

Hot chocolate and hot cider will be available around a cozy outdoor fire. Come any time between 1:00 and 4:00 to enjoy the winter wonderland at PWLC
