66 mile Scenic Monmouth Bike Ride

Ride Information:

• Distance: apx 66 miles
• Elevation: Occasional and relatively mild
• Terrain: Apx 1/3 interior roadway, 1/3 paved trail w/ short section of pea gravel, 1/3 up the Jersey coast,
• Recommended Bike: Road or Hybrid
• Speed: 10-12+ mph ave when moving. We will stop for breaks for hydration, scenery, photography, eating and other bodily functions.
• Experience level: This ride is for riders that have good road riding comfort and experience and are able to go the distance.

Must Haves:

• Bike in good condition,
• Helmet,
• Front and rear lights are recommended
• Sufficient hydration liquid (1L5+ L recommended). There will be places to refill along the way.
• Appropriate clothing,
• Sun tan lotion
• Good attitude and a smile

• Through local suburban communities,
• Charming Farmingdale,
• Hopping Belmar,
• Up the Jersey Shore coast, through all the unique and exciting towns along the intercostal,
• Across the Sandy Hook Bridge,
• Lunch at Off The Hook Restaurant (see link below),
• Through Atlantic Highlands,
• ALL 3 SECTIONS of THE HENRY HUDSON TRAIL,
• Downtown Freehold, Monmouth County Capitol
• Delicious Dinner at Federici's Restaurant (optional, see link below), optional
