Let's Paddle the Musconetcong River Up and Back! (4.5 miles)

Details
Rain will cancel the event
Enjoy paddling the beautiful Musconetcong River round-trip from Lock 4 on Waterloo Rd (Hackettstown, NJ, two miles north of Stephens State Park). We'll paddle down to Saxton Falls then upstream past the Kinney Bridge to the tree blockage and back. Round-trip is approximately 4.5 miles.
Bring water - and if you might need them, snacks or lunch as we'll be paddling at lunch time. We can't really float to eat as the river does have a current, but just let us know you need to get something and can't paddle briefly and we'll slow up if needed.
All paddle boats / boards welcome.
Please arrive 15 minutes - half hour early to set up and launch so we get out on the water on time. Thank you!
LIFE JACKETS SAVE LIVES and a personal flotation device is required on board by state law.
Water shoes are recommended.
I usually enjoy having my yak paddles along when on my board.
