Paterson Downtown History & Art Walk

Details
Distance: approx. 7–8 miles
This walk will take us through Paterson, a city with a fascinating industrial history and a rich cultural heritage. We will explore several historical and cultural sites, including Paterson City Hall, Passaic County Court House and Annex, Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Lou Costello Park, Paterson Museum, and the Hamilton Club Building (we are currently waiting for confirmation on whether we can visit inside). Along the route, we will also see public art and sculptures by Italian-American artist Gaetano Federici scattered throughout the city center. If time and weather allow, we may visit Great Falls and Lambert Castle. Walking through Paterson offers a glimpse into the city’s past as a thriving industrial hub, its diverse communities, and its unique charm.
