Battery Park to Rockefeller Ctr Exploratory Walk
Details
This is an exploratory walk stating at Battery Park. It is not a guided tour as the event host will be exploring rather than touring. Distance is estimated to be 10-12+ miles so be prepared with good shoes and clothing. That said, I will try to maintain a comfortable pace and there are numerous drop off points.
The intended path will take us through Wall Street and the 911 memorial. From there we will walk generally along the Hudson river/west side, passing Tom Otterness Real World Sculptures and point of interest along the Hudson River Park and the Empire State Trail. From there we will head towards Canal St, China Town, Little Italy, SOHO, Greenwich Village and the Chelsea Market. We'll Stop for Lunch at a place of our choosing in the Chelsea area.
After Lunch we'll explore the Highline as we head towards Hudson Yards. We will then walk past Central Park South on the way to Rockefeller Ctr to see the tree.
