Weather permitting, we’re planning a beautiful winter hike at Billy Johnson Mountain Lake while conditions are still manageable and before any severe snow hits. Expect a scenic snow-covered landscape, some elevation gain, and a few stream crossings along the way.
Distance will be approximately 4–6 miles, depending on trail and weather conditions.
Required: Hiking poles and traction devices (microspikes/cleats) are mandatory for this hike.
Important: Please check the weather forecast closely the night before and again before heading out, and watch for any last-minute updates or changes to the hike.
