- Route Selection: We have prepared four distinct hiking itineraries (detailed below). The specific route for each day will not be fixed in advance. Instead, we will select the best-suited route 1–2 days prior based on the weather forecast and the group’s preference.

- For Blue & Green Routes: Belle Isle South Bank (W 22nd St / Riverside Rd Parking) (Coordinates: 37°31'26.5"N 77°27'26.4"W)
The Four Routes Overview
- Orange Route (The Museum & Culture Loop): Explore Richmond’s heritage, passing the Virginia State Capitol, VCU, and the Museum District (including VMFA). A highlight is crossing the T. Tyler Potterfield Memorial Bridge for stunning river views.
- Yellow Route (The Historic Waterfront Loop): A journey through the Manchester Floodwall, Richmond Slave Trail, Triple Railroad Bridge, and the Poe Museum, ending at the historic Main Street Station and Chimborazo Park.
- Blue Route (The River & Remembrance Loop): Featuring Belle Isle and the unique pedestrian footbridge hanging below the Robert E. Lee Bridge. We will also visit the historic Hollywood Cemetery overlooking the James River.
- Green Route (The Parks & Estates Loop): A nature-focused hike through Forest Hill and across the Westover Hills Blvd Bridge. We will visit the historic Pump House, Byrd Park, and the Maymont Mansion gardens.
