Hiking the top of the hook

A hike around the remote top of the Sandy hook peninsula. We will walk around the bays shore to the ocean side for about 4-5 miles.
Most of the hike will be along the waters edge. We always see something different and interesting every time we do this hike
Be prepared to hike thru soft sand and open exposed terrain. Sunscreen, hats and water highly recommended.
It’s Horseshoe crab season so we may come across some. Maybe see some endangered piping plovers and if lucky dolphins right of the beach
