Day Hike to Lake Spaulding
Details
Day hike to Lake Spaulding via the Pionner Trail. Approximately 6.5 miles in length with 1,000 ft of elevation gain at 5,000 feet. This is a low-moderate level hike which we'll be doing at a casually moderate pace. Per weather.com the high/low for the day should be 65/47 and sunny.

This Event Is For Those Who Have Been Vaccinated. Please Do Not Attend If You Have Not Been Vaccinated For Covid19!

Directions to trailhead:
8:30am: Meet at the Sunsplash Park and Ride off Taylor Road to arrive at the trailhead by approximately 9:30am

Get on I-80 E from Taylor Rd
Follow I-80 E to CA-20 W/State Hwy 20 W in Nevada County. Take exit 161 from I-80 E
Continue on CA-20 W/State Hwy 20 W. Drive to Forest Rte 18
