Bring snowshoes, plenty of water, lunch/snacks, sun protection, and be prepared for cool temps.

If carpooling, meet at Taylor Rd park-n-ride near Shell station at 7:15. Otherwise meet at the trailhead about 8:30. If carpooling expect to pay $4.50/hour or about $13. Trailhead is Donner SNOPark at the top of Donner Pass (near Borial). **Passes are required**: more info at [SNOPark](http://ohv.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=1233). This SNOPark can be a zoo hence the early start time.
