Training Hill Loop in Auburn 5 miles

Carpoolers can meet at 12:20 PM, Roseville Sunsplash Park and Ride lot closer to Shell Station, to make your own arrangements.

First we'll get the hill out of the way (about 1 mile and 1,000 feet of Very Steep Rocky terrain, poles helpful), then we'll continue onto the beautiful Wendell Robie Trail for an additional easy four miles back to our cars.

Please observe Leave No Trace ethics.
Bring plenty of water, snacks, and a spare pair of shoes in case of mud.
Dogs are okay, but please keep them under control and clean up after them.

Directions to trailhead:
I-80 east to Auburn
Exit 119C So. Placerville/Elm
Left on Elm
Left on 49 (High Street)
Cross Lincoln Way down into the canyon
Follow 49 RIGHT over the bridge towards Cool
Park immediately after the bridge on right side of the road. You will see green gate 150/ trail on the right immediately after crossing the bridge.
