Pacific Hts.Victorians to Presidio Hts,J.Morgans and 2 B.Maybeck Craftsman Homes

Details

We'll start in lower Pacific Hts. among the Victorian houses and make our way to Presidio Hts. mansions. Taking in iconic streets of Victorians and "Period Revival Mansions".
Passing by Julia Morgan's own home (In 1923 and 1929, Morgan purchased two Italianate houses at 2225 and 2229 Divisadero Street. Morgan joined the two houses on the first floor and used them for her office, living space, plus apartments for her employees) then see some other homes designed by her. Ending at two of Bernard Maybeck's finest examples of Arts & Crafts houses in San Francisco. (The Arts and Crafts movement in the United States sought to unite social reform, architecture, art, and the decorative arts. In the period from about 1890 to 1915.)
We'll return to Pine and Fillmore to allow you to explore Fillmore Sts. shops, restaurants, coffee/bakeries, bars/restaurants.

No parking restrictions on the weekends, but leave extra time to find a parking spot. Usually there is parking on Pierce St. between Jackson and Pacific because it is a very steep street. But try Clay St.
