City Outing: Victorians & History - Going to Noe Valley from Eureka Valley

Details

Meeting Place: Meet on the sidewalk at the corner of 22nd and Castro streets, San Francisco.
With the great coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants on Noe Valley's, 24th St. and sprinkled around the neighborhood. What better excuse to climb some hills to work up an appetite.
Starting at an architecturally very interesting corner of Eureka Valley, we'll work our way deep into neighboring Noe Valley.
We'll take a good look at the Victorians, and learn about Victorian architecture. While reviewing some Noe Valley/Eureka Valley history, (American residential settlement started in this area, 150 yrs. ago.)"
Please plan to arrive at the corner of 22nd and Castro streets before we begin our hike at 10:15 am.
A note about weekday parking in SF. Where we're meeting there will be readily available parking within a block. But the tricky part is the, "Street Sweeping", times and days of the week restrictions. You must remember to check the signs nearest to where you park for the Street Sweeping times. What seems like the most available parking will be where street sweeping prohibitions are in effect. Don't be fooled or it will cost $97.00.
