Diamond Hts., San Francisco - Architectural Tour
Details
Lots of beautiful vistas in this neighborhood that was built up after WW II.
About three or four miles today over very hilly terrain.
Meet at the Safeway Supermarket entrance off Diamond Hts. Blvd. Muni bus #35 or #52. Glen Park BART station is in the vicinity.
When I do a tour to a neighborhood I've never toured before or even driven around in, like Diamond Hts., it is extra fun and exhilarating for me. I've have some basic local historic locations (see the attached photos) and heritage architecture sites (addresses). We'll find these with an excellent map with a great pre-planned route to follow. So join, me in exploring this San Francisco neighborhood on a new tour for all of us.
If you have a problem maintaining your social calendar, please be advised!
(Don't be a no-show.) It's nice to give out name tags which I do. I fill out the name tags just before I leave for the tour. This also gives me a way to take attendance. Name tags that are not picked up, are recorded as no-shows. If you get too many no-shows recorded in your personal Meet-up profile you'll have to be cancelled from this Meetup.
(To cancel your RSVP beforehand (please at least 24 hrs.), look for the, "Edit Attendance" tab at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.)
