Welcome to HikeTO! We are a group of outdoor enthusiasts who love getting in shape through hiking, and occasional camping. Most of our hike will be suitable for beginners, and intermediate hikers, while advanced hikes will be offered at our sister group 2&4 Hr Advanced Hike – Toronto.

Our hike will always offer fitness, socializing while enjoying nature.
Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just starting out, our group is perfect for anyone looking to stay active and explore the great outdoors.

# Organizer Liability Waiver & Acknowledgment of Risk

By registering for any HikeTO event, you accept and acknowledge the following Liability Waiver -Acknowledgment of Risk: In consideration of your RSVP to participate in this HikeTO Event you hereby agree as follows: *** (1) TO WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS that I have or may in the future have against HikeTO and its executive, leadership team members, hike leaders, co-organizers and organizers (THE RELEASEES), and *** (2) TO RELEASE THE RELEASEES from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expense or injury including death that I may suffer, or that my next of kin may suffer resulting, either directly or indirectly, from either my use of the facilities or my presence on the premises DUE TO ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR BREACH OF ANY STATUTORY OR OTHER DUTY OF CARE, INCLUDING ANY DUTY OF CARE OWED UNDER THE OCCUPIERS LIABILITY ACT, R.S.O. 1990, c.O.2, ON THE PART OF THE RELEASEES, AND INCLUDING THE FAILURE ON THE PART OF THE RELEASEES TO SAFEGUARD OR PROTECT ME FROM THE RISKS DANGERS AND HAZARDS OF ALL ACTIVITIES; *** (3) TO HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY THE RELEASEES from any claims or demands resulting from any property damage or personal injury to any third party, which might be made against the Releasees resulting from my participation in All Activities and my use of the premises and facilities; *** (4) That this Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario; *** (5) That any litigation involving the parties to this Agreement shall be brought within the Province of Ontario; *** (6) That this Agreement shall be effective and binding upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and assigns and representatives, in the event of my death or incapacity; *** (7) I am SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for any guests that I bring to a HikeTO event.  and to make them aware that this is a hiking group that travels on a combination of on/off trail situations, with a higher risk of personal injury *** (8) I have read, understood, and I agreed to this waiver, and hereby acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my safety during any event or group related activity and that if intoxicated, I will not operate a motorized vehicle after leaving any HikeTO Event.
