THE VIVID 2025 Cocktail Crawl! MARGARITA BAR to ROOFTOP POOL to VIVID to THE PUB

A basement / hidden tequila joint. A rooftop pool with cocktails. Then VIVID 2025 with pub drinks to finish the nite... Let's goooooo.

THE TIMING.
350pm... Meet point is the queue at Centro 86, and they open at 4pm. What a fantastic joint this is, and their Happy Hour is $12 (not very) spicy margaritas and $7 beers. Centro 86 is a super cool basement / hidden tequila bar next to Caterpillar Club (we will get there after a hike in June - promise). You will love it. These guys own OK Cantina, Bar Planet, The Cliff Dive, Tio's, and newly opened Herb's Taverne**.** We'll have our own spot to kick it off properly. YOUR FIRST MARGARITA IS PRE-PAID, so don't be late or it's gonna get warm. I'll be right across the street at Angel Hotel at 315pm if anybody fancies a warmer-upper.

(I keep hearing that song from Tik Tok - "Gimmie one Margarita, and I'll open my..." Ah. Pardon me. Ignore me. And don't worry folks, we will get to CATERPILLAR CLUB after a hike at our JUNE EVENT.)

455pm... Super close is Ivy Pool / Jimmy's Rooftop. It's newly renovated, and it's really, really nice. Happy Hour starts at 5pm. They don't do reservations, but they said they'd welcome us, and we can find an area wherever we can.

540pm SHARP We Leave Ivy to Wynyard Station.
From there, it's a 30 second walk to Wynyard Station then it's a 7min train to Milson's Point Station. If you want a drink, it would be wise to pack a roadie drink... We'll walk / be right under Sydney Harbour Bridge at 559pm (hopefully) when the lights go BANG at 6pm. 620pm is the Milson's Point Ferry to Barangaroo, arriving 634pm. 10min walk, and our reservation at Sporting Globe by 4 Pines is at 645pm. I have a VIP card, and (already cheap) pints are cheaper with my 20% off card.

As the ferry glides, there will be perfect photo opportunities of Sydney Opera House lit up... the ferry will be crowded; we will get separated. When we are dropped at Barangaroo it will be even more crowded. It will be very hard to keep the group together - so pleeeeease google maps Sporting Globe by 4 Pines and make your way straight there if you lose sight of me. Check in with the bouncer as "I'm with MJ's Hiking Group".

At each spot, I'll spin the Wheel of Fortune with all names on it to see who wins a Happy Hour drink - my treat!

THE RULES:
a) $10 for this Event.
b) $12 for your margarita. If you're a non-drinker please send me a message, and I'll give you your $12 back on the nite. If you don't like margaritas, don't worry - somebody will give you $12 for yours. Like me. I'll have my own + two more in fact.
c) Only $22 pre-payment secures your spot. My PayID / Bank Details are visible when you RSVP.
d) No refunds. Pre-pay. Show up. And have a great evening.
e) After payment, send me a screenshot with your name on 0439 635 699 THEN RSVP THAT YOU WILL "ATTEND" TO THE EVENT. If you're in the "Going" column for a couple of days / don't pay, I'll (politely) move you into the "Not Going" column.
f) Dress appropriately. Centro 86 and Ivy Pool Rooftop are nice spots.
g) The timing is tight, but they don't call me Beer Grills for nothing. Trust me - it will work. Stay close to the host, and don't get lost - the CBD will be heaving with people. If you do get lost, refer to the times above then send me an SMS.
h) Get loose get loopy... but lads let's be kind to the ladies. We're a hiking group - not a pick up group. Keep it cheeky / semi-classy. Regular hikers take priority over those that have never seen Mother Nature with us.
i) Finish up time is unknown... up to you all!
