We Hike... to a 3HRS SYDNEY HARBOUR BOAT PARTY on a 52 FOOT YACHT! Read on!

8 JULY UPDATE - THIS EVENT IS 100% GOING AHEAD - YACHT IS PAID FOR!

As our two groups have grown to over 5,000 members, I've witnessed some post-hike behaviour that's loose, reckless, and quite clearly out of control.

I'd be offended if it didn't make me so damn happy. You hiking degens soothe my soul. You're my kinda people!!!

Year 2 of our young-pup group approaches, so perhaps we start offering some more lux hiking days out. Like this: We do a... Watson's Bay to Rose Bay hike. We gather some food / booze inventory. Then we'll board for 3hrs on Sydney Harbour to have some fun. Swim. Drink. Dance. And check out Sydney Harbour waterside rather than trail-side. Then? We get dropped right at my local bar on the water at King St Wharf... and ushered to our area to carry on.

Now, I'm no party promoter - just a guy that loves to hike with a couple of margaritas in the First Aid Kit. I'm sure we could gather some good tunes for the boat (something tells me a famous "Dutch DJ Frits" would come back if I un-ban him).

As long as nobody falls overboard, this will be a great fucking day. Proper memories. Here it is...

THE DETAILS:
a) Meet Watson's Bay at 930am. Hike Watson's Bay to Rose Bay / Balmoral to Taronga? I'm open. Ferry to Circular Quay.
b) 1230pm. Pick up BYO booze / Food in The Rocks. Maybe a pre-game drink at The Orient or somewhere filthy?
c) 1:30pm 3hrs cruising on Sydney Harbour. Pick up East Pontoon, Circular Quay with perfect Sydney Opera House views to "Cheers" to. Off we go on Sydney Fucking Harbour!!!
d) 430pm drop off at my local bar, Sporting Globe by 4Pines at King St Wharf (everybody can use my VIP card for 20% off all food / drinks) to carry on.... Only God knows what happens after this point, but he probably won't be happy with it.

Interested? The hike / boat is $100 per person. Non-refundable, but sure you can transfer your ticket to a mate / fellow hiker.

If this one is fun, we could do another hike / boat event around Palm Beach / Hawkesbury River in February. Loads of options.

From the Yacht: Inclusive of eskies, ice, crockery, cutlery, cups and serving equipment. Also includes BBQ usage/cleaning, BBQ utensils and garbage disposal. The crew will cook the BBQ when the vessel is stationary.
