Meet - Embudo Trailhead at the E end of Indian School Rd NE at 9.00 a.m. we will only wait 5 minutes for stragglers

Route - Mano Trail with variations avoiding the boring bits
Length - 5 to 6 miles
Elevation change - 1500'
Difficulty - moderate all on-trail but A FEW short sections of
scrambling and loose footing
Duration - up to 4 hours
Bring - water, a snack, decent shoes or boots, rain gear and hiking poles if you like them.
Sunscreen and hat.
Please, dogs on leash only
If conditions are icy or snowy, I will pick a different easier route, but will still be hiking.
This route has great views to the west and is not heavily
traveled. Plus you can meet the troll.
Edit Saturday a.m. Looks like 1-2 inches of snow fell overnight. Whatever the conditions I'll still be hiking. Tomorrow's forecast is sunny and 60. If the trail is still snowy tomorrow morning we may shorten the hike and stay at low elevation.
