10K to South Peak and back

Time: 8:00am (please be prompt because we will leave by 8:05am)
Who Should Attend: Only active, experienced hikers who are physically capable of hiking 16 miles at a 2.5-3mph pace should plan on attending. Elevation Gain: 3000+.
The plan is to start at the 10K trailhead. From there we will hike south on 10K, cross the ski area, and eventually reach the Crest trail. From that intersection, we will continue south on Crest trail until we reach South Peak. After a stop for lunch at South Peak we will return back via the same route. Total distance will be ~16 miles.
Required Items:
Water at least 2 liters
Snack/Lunch
Unplugged Hike: You are more than welcome to bring your cell phone on the hike, but it just needs to be on silent.
Dogs: Not allowed at this time.
