Time: 9:00am (please be prompt because we will leave by 9:05am)

Who Should Attend: Only hikers who are physically capable of hiking 12 miles within the time posted above.

Hike Description: This is an out and back hike. We will take the North Mystery Trail (7,360 ft) up to the Lagunita Seca meadow (8,110 ft). From there we will follow the Palomas Cliff's Trail to Palomas Peak (8,560 ft).

This hike is strenuous because of the distance and pace. This hike is about 12 miles. I anticipate there will be some snow/ice on North facing slopes so microspikes could be helpful.

Items to Bring:

• Water (at least 64 oz)
• Microspikes (optional)
• Trekking Poles
• Snacks/lunch
• Appropiate gear for the weather

Dog Policy: Not allowed this time.

Weather Notice: If inclement weather looks imminent, please check this site 45 minutes prior to the departure time.

Unplugged Hike: This means that you are more than welcome to bring your cell phone, but that it just needs to be on silent during the hike.
