The Tree Spring Trail to the Pino Canyon Overlook is a Sandia Mountain classic hike. This easy to follow, well maintained trail is a summertime favorite given large shaded areas.
You can expect some challenging rocky and steep sections but the pay off will be the the ambiance of the forest and stunning views of Albuquerque and Pino Canyon from the top.
Distance: 4.2 miles
Elevation Gain: 1017 feet
Terrain: Rocky and steep
Difficulty: intermediate
We will hike at a normal pace and take a break at the top.
Car pooling: I can take 3 other people and squeeze one more in if need be. If some one else will volunteer to car pool that would be great.
