Eye of the Sandia Loop Hike

Lets hike up to the Eye of the sandias from the Copper trailhead. We will continue past the eye until we come to a meadow. We then come down a steep ridge and around the u-mound to the parking lot.

Distance: About 5.5 miles
Elevation: About 1200ft.

This is a steep hike and the downhill portion has loose gravel. There is mild rock scarmbling after the eye to get to the meadow.
Hiking poles are HIGHLY recommended.
