Announcing a new Meetup for The Albuquerque Hiking and Outdoor Meetup!
What: Full Moon Bosque Waltz

Meetup Description:
"Along the Bosque,
Along the Bosque,
The Rio Grande quietly flows
Cold and in the moonlight
A certain stillness rules
Cold and moonlight
Refreshes and shouts
Alive! alive! alive!
Come, walk in the cold
Come, walk in the moonlight
Below the Bosque Cottonwoods"
This Bosque Waltz will begin from parking lot near Hastings on the corner of Coors and Montano. We will begin the hike north along the dirt road on the west side of the Rio Grande. We will then take several dirt roads and well worn paths through the Bosque Cottonwoods. With sufficient light from the full moon we may not need lights but bring a head lamp and flashlight just in case.
Weather projections suggest we can expect temperatures between 38 and 55 degrees Fahrenheit. This means the "smart hiker" will be dress accordingly.
After our hike there may be some who would like to retire to Hastings for coffee and conversation.
