Winter is here and let's stay active indoors!
Bouldering is rock climbing close to the ground without the need for a rope or harness. It can be done indoors or out and all you need is a pair climbing shoes and some chalk, and a willingness to learn. Literally climbing on a boulder instead of on a rock face or cliff.

All levels are welcomed! Beginners to Advance. Learn Bouldering.

Always wanted to go climbing, but don’t know where to start? We’re here to help, with this basic guide to climbing styles, techniques, and jargon. Hopefully it helps remove some of the mystery, helps you figure out which disciplines you’d like to try, and makes it easier for you to get started

Join Delilah & gang to climb every Monday Night!

We are a group of enthusiastic, beginner friendly climbers meeting at the Seattle Boulder Project.

"But I've never climbed before. Can I join?" Absolutely! All levels of experience are welcome. If you are new to the sport wear comfortable clothing (think yoga). More experienced members would be happy to share some pointers to help you get started, including the grips used to boulder. Please note due to liability considerations only gym-approved instructors are permitted to give belay instruction.

HOW TO FIND US: We usually meet at the bench by the bathrooms at 7:00pm. Also, if members post a description of what they are wearing, that'll help others find us. Identifying yourself as a meetup member can also help others find us.

Costs:

• Day pass: $18 (excluding tax)
• Climb shoes rental: free for first timers, otherwise $4

RSVP ETIQUETTE: Since we have limited space I ask that you be considerate of others and commit to your RSVP. Your no-show may prevent someone else from attending and you from attending other limited events like this.
