Let's hike this cool trail.

Very impt: Don't just input the trail name. You'll end up at the wrong place.

I start on Grand River because there is a porta potty at that address.

We'll go out and hike for an hour. I take breaks about every 20 minutes ot so and/or every time we get to the top of a steep hill. I call those "catch your breath" breaks.

PLEASE BRING THIS TRAIL UP ON ALL TRAILS BEFORE YOU GET TO THE TRAILHEAD. Yes, I'm leading the hike, but something might come up, and you might need to get back to the parking lot on your own.

ALSO, MOST TRAILHEADS HAVE POOR SERVICE. If you wait till you arrive at the hike, you probably won't be able to access the trail on AllTrails.

We'll hike for an hour, figure out where we are, take a snack break, and hike back to the starting point.

We'll hike about 5 miles total at a 2.5 mph pace.

If you've never gone on a organized hike before, please give us a try. Hiking is for everyone. There are groups for everyone. You just need to find out where you fit in. Hike your own hike.

By the way: I recommend hiking poles and water on every hike. Peace Park is VERY hilly, so poles are HIGHLY recommended.
