New Haven Hikers' Westwoods Walk

Hi folks! Let's explore the springtime woodland in all its glory as we take a good long walk in great company. This Meetup will take place at West Woods Trails (http://www.westwoodstrails.org), which is a Guilford Land Trust preserve in Guilford, CT.

WHEN AND WHERE: As usual, plan to arrive five minutes early.

Meet at 11:55 or 12:00 at the Sam Hill Road entrance, and we will begin hiking at five after. This hiking loop is manageable for the average person, but will take two hours.

DIRECTIONS: For this hike, we will meet at the Sam Hill Road entrance. From I-95 exit 57. Go east on Route 1 approximately one and a quarter mile. At the second stop light make a right hand turn onto River Street. When the road ends, turn right onto Route 146 (Water Street). Travel a little over a mile, and make a right hand turn onto Sam Hill Road just before the railroad bridge. The trail entrance with parking is immediately on your left.
