Join us this weekend for a classic Yellow Springs double-feature as we explore both Glen Helen Nature Preserve and John Bryan State Park near Yellow Springs.
This hike will feature scenic cliffs, river views, wooded ravines, limestone gorges, and plenty of elevation change. Expect steady ups and downs throughout the day — this is not a flat rail trail stroll. We’ll keep a moderate, steady pace with a short regroup and snack break along the way.
If you’re looking for one of the most beautiful and challenging day hikes in Southwest Ohio, this is it.
WHERE TO MEET
We will meet at the main parking lot at John Bryan State Park –15 minutes early so we can begin on time. We’ll do quick introductions and a short overview before heading out.
