26 km Day Hike on the Island of Orø - Ferry from Holbæk

Hey Randoms,

This is a day hike. And it's on an island!!!!

We'll take the ferry from Holbæk to the island of Orø.
The hike is the loop around the island, 26 km, back to the ferry.
Ferry tickets are 66 DKK roundtrip - they accept cash and cards.

The Ferry
Be aware of the ferry schedule. The ferry departs at 8:55.
We meet at Holbæk station 8:30 and walk to the ferry together.
It's a 10 minute walk to the ferry.
Ergo, we have a 15 minutes buffer, please do your best to be on time.

The hike
Expect windy conditions and be extra aware of layering versus conditions on the day. Lunch and supply options on the hike could happen, but results may vary.

And please bring a light source, headlamp recommended.
