Hiking in London is one of London's established hiking communities, with 12,000+ members on Meetup and more than 35,000 people across our wider community.
We organise regular day hikes from London, weekend adventures around the UK and selected international hiking trips.
Whether you're new to London, looking to meet new people or simply want to spend more time outdoors, you're very welcome to join us.

Many of our members come to their first hike by themselves. Hiking is one of the easiest ways to meet people naturally, and our community includes members from many different countries, cultures and backgrounds.

### Simple, friendly and organised
Our routes are planned in advance and include clear information about distance, difficulty, meeting points and what to bring.
For many of our London day hikes you can choose:
£12 guided hike — pay on the day, or book additional transport options through our website when available.
You don't need previous experience for many of our walks, but please always check the difficulty and distance of each event before booking.

Seven Sisters Coastal Hike | Seaford to Eastbourne | 22 km
Victoria Station, London, UK, London, GBJoin us for one of the most spectacular coastal walks in southern England, following the famous Seven Sisters cliffs from Seaford to Eastbourne.
Expect dramatic sea views, rolling South Downs countryside and a full day outdoors with a friendly international group of hikers from London.### 🥾 Key information

Ascent: approx. 500 m

We meet inside London Victoria Station, near the ticket machines, close to Boots (unit 27), WHSmith and LEON.

We travel from London to Seaford, where our walk begins.
From Seaford, we'll follow the spectacular Sussex coastline across the Seven Sisters, with beautiful views over the English Channel and repeated climbs and descents across the famous chalk cliffs.
The route continues through the South Downs towards Beachy Head, before finishing in Eastbourne.
This is a rewarding full-day hike with some steep sections, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.### 🎒 What to bring

- Suitable clothing for the weather
