Magnolia Ranch - 4 Miles - Shorter option too
Details
Description: This meandering trail, also called Gerle Loop trail is beneath the canopy of foothill oak woodland. We will start out going counter clockwise taking the trail to the river. We will walk along the river until we get to the sandy beach where the dogs can play. Then we will continue on to where the kayaks put it at the end of where the trail follows the river and have playtime there. From there we will do the upper part of the trail. There is an option to go back to the parking lot here instead of doing the upper loop which makes it about 2 1/2 miles. We hike at a leisurely pace and stop often for pictures, water breaks, dog play etc. I highly recommend hiking boots for this trail. The trail is rocky in places, and will be muddy.

What to bring: Sturdy hiking boots, leash, water, hat, sunscreen, poop bags, snacks you and your dog, layered clothing.
RSVP based on the number of dogs. If you have 1 dog, its just you = 0. If you have 2 dogs, its you and 1 guest = +1. If you plan on brining more than 2 dogs, please message your hike leader.
If you need to change your RSVP from yes to no, please do so as soon as possible to allow others to attend (try to prevent last minute changes as that affects the whole group).
Reminders: Bring poop bags and pick up after your dog. If you let your dog off-leash you must have voice control over your dog and keep your dog in sight. Stay with the group unless otherwise arranged with the hike leader. If your dog is unfriendly to other dogs or people you will be asked to leash up. Any questions send a message to your hike leader.
