Enchanted Pools from Wilderness trailhead Wrights lake

Details
Warning: Most of this hike is off of official trails, but is well marked. We have done this several times before.
We will hike from The Twin Lakes trailhead to the spectacular Enchanted Pools. There are many beautiful pools and lots of unique waterfalls. This will be an out and back hike. There are 2 creek crossings. A hiking pole might be useful.

Take Hwy 50 east to Wrights Lake Rd. Turn left and follow the road to the lake. Go through the gate and stop at the kiosk and pay the $10 parking fee. Bring a credit/debit card because the kiosk doesn't take cash. Turn on the first road on the right, across the bridge, through the cabins, to the trailhead parking lot. (bathroom is available there)
Bring: leash, poop bags, sunscreen, bug spray, (mosquitos at Wright's are notorious!) a picnic lunch, dog treats, plenty of water for you and your dog, and a camera .
RSVP: For the number of Dogs not people.
2 people & one dog = 0
2 dogs and one person = +1
Please arrive 15 minutes early to get your gear ready. We will only wait 5 minutes for stragglers before we start the hike. You can probably catch up to us if you are late. We stop a lot at first for photographers and pooping dogs.
If you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours before the hike.
If you are late or lost try calling or texting Lucinda 916-307-8743. Hopefully I will have service.
