Folsom Lake

This hike starts at the Jr high school parking lot. We will meet there, then we will hike on-leash from the parking lot about a 1/2 mile through the school and down a heavy traffic trail to the lake area. We will stay on leash until we get past the levee. Once we get past the levee, we will let them off- leash to play. Then we will hike along the waters edge for a couple miles, then turn back. We will leash up as needed when encountering other dogs, kids etc. This is a leisurely walk and there is plenty of time by the water for all to enjoy. Bring your water shoes if you want to wade with the dogs. You can also bring a bathing suit and go for a swim!

RSVP for the number of dogs - 1 dog = 0, 2 dogs = +1. If I have not met you before, please dont bring more than 2 dogs.

Plan to be there 5-10 minutes early so we can be ready to go on time. We will not wait for people who are late.

If you choose to let your dog off-leash you must have voice control over your dog and keep your dog in sight. Please clean up after your dog. If you want to take off on your own, let your hike leader know.
