This is a lovely hike though rolling hills of oak. There are a couple creeks to cross and it will be wet and muddy. We will do about 5 miles of the 8 mile loop. Course may change depending on trail conditions. I have been here many times and never got lost.. yet :) We will need to stay on leash for the first half mile of this trail as it is near a busy road and the fence is not secure.

This is also weather permitting. If its a light rain, I will still go. If its heavy rain or wind and I will cancel or postpone.

Parking: There is a 10$ fee to park unless you have a state park pass. carpooling is suggested where possible.

Bring: Shoes/boots that can get wet, poop bags, leash, lunch for you and your dog, water for you (there should be plenty of water for dogs), sunscreen, hat, layered clothes.

RSVP for the number of dogs you are bringing. You and 1 dog=just you, you +2 dogs = +1. If you are bringing extra people, no need to RSVP for them. Main concern is the pack size.
